Our Spanish classes for middle and high school students are designed to build strong language skills while fitting seamlessly into their schedules. We make learning Spanish fun with interactive lessons that cover speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Our program is carefully structured to ensure that learning Spanish enhances their skills without interfering with their regular school studies.
Spanish for Grades 4–8
Join Mamá Maestra for a fun and engaging introduction to Spanish! This class is designed for students in grades 4–8, with most participants expected to be 6th graders. Students will build a strong foundation in Spanish through our Intro to Spanish / Spanish 1 curriculum, focusing on practical vocabulary, conversation, comprehension, pronunciation, and beginning grammar in an interactive and supportive environment.

Academy of the Arts – After School Spanish Education
Bring Spanish to life after school! Mamá Maestra’s Spanish Enrichment Program allows 3rd–7th grade students to build real-world Spanish communication skills in a fun, interactive, and engaging environment.
Designed specifically for students in 3rd–7th grade, lessons are age-appropriate and encourage students to actively use Spanish through conversation, games, collaborative activities, reading, writing, and cultural exploration. Rather than simply memorizing vocabulary, students learn to understand and use Spanish naturally and confidently. Lessons are differentiated so that students can participate and grow, whether they are beginning their Spanish journey or have prior exposure to the language.
Our curriculum is aligned with California World Language Standards and ACTFL standards, incorporating language, culture, critical thinking, and meaningful communication.
